• 19, Saturday - Land Marked/Marquette screens at the Eye and Ear Clinic series at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in a revival of the touring show, Lo Fi Landscapes: Pictures From the New World. Location: FVNM Screening Room, 13th Floor, 112 South Michigan Ave. Time: 7pm. Admission free.

• 20, Thursday - Kaspar Hauser?! Live?! New lineup?! The record's not done yet?! The simple answer is: "Yes." We'll be performing a short set of new songs and oldies after Deb Stratman screens her video, The BLVD, about drag racing in Chicago. The screening, which I organized with the Ice Capades folks, is part of an ongoing series and gallery exhibition, Urban, Rural, Wild, at the I-Space Gallery which closes on October 22. Location: The Ice Factory, 526 North Ashland. Time: Screening at 8pm. Music to follow. Admission: $5. All-ages.
